It didn’t take a long time before I received multiple emails explaining that the autologin feature wasn’t working anymore with the Evernote 3.0.6 beta.
I’m not using Evernote Account Switcher myself anymore. I’ve found the sharing feature enough for my needs.
But because of popular request I’ve updated the app to work nicely again with the latest version of Evernote.
I went even further by completely redesigning the autologin process. And I must say I nailed it this time. No longer a copy paste trick but real keychains. You’ll hopefully find it working must faster and stable. And this way you can open Evernote without EAS and it will still autologin! Finally…

I also updated the app to work with the latest version. Over the versions of Evernote the application added a lot of extra folders. I’ve now made sure that every account has it’s own set of folders.

Evernote also added a feature to sync upon quitting. Evernote Account Switcher wasn’t build for this but now is.
It now gently waits until Evernote has quit and than continues.

I hope you like it!

Jasper

Things Folders 1.0

Today the release of Things Folder 1.0 …. finally.
Although there are no new features in this release I decided that it was stable enough to be released as 1.0.
I regret that the quality of icons are still very poor but as mentioned before I don’t have the skill to make icons. And so far nobody has come forth yet with some icons. So if you make cool icons I’ll add them. Otherwise we have to do with these ones.

I also haven’t worked on Things Folders for a couple of months now. And I can’t see myself doing that in the near future.
So unless Things Folders will not work anymore with a future version of Things and I still need Things Folders for myself to work; I doubt I’ll ever work on it again.

Also a note to all the beta users. I found that when you only use one Things application you should be fine. So if you only use the beta delete the current version of Things. Otherwise AppleScript could get confused in what application to use for its data.

A big thanks for all the users who provided feedback and filed bugs!
